About Me
Some voices whisper. Mine roars.
I'm Sandy Tyger — a rock and pop vocalist with over a decade on stage, and a lifetime of music behind that. Long before I ever stepped up to a real microphone with a band, I was already singing wherever I could: karaoke bars, private parties, any room that had space for one more song. That's where I learned that a voice doesn't need a big stage to mean something — it just needs a reason.
Ten-plus years ago, that turned into something more serious: fronting cover bands built around classic pop and rock. My heart lives in the 70s, 80s and 90s — the eras of big choruses and bigger voices — though I'll always make room for a great song, whatever decade it's from. Vocally, people tend to place me somewhere between Bonnie Tyler, Melissa Etheridge and Tina Turner: a little raspy, a lot of power, and not afraid to let a note crack if that's what the moment needs.
I recently relocated to Dubai, and one thing hasn't changed with the move: I'm not ready to give up the stage. I'm currently looking to connect with bands in the area, and I'm equally open to solo gigs — private events, hotel lounges, corporate nights, weddings, anywhere that wants live vocals with some real rock and soul behind them.
If you're looking for a voice that whispers when a song calls for it, and roars when it doesn't — let's talk.
